it's not stereotyping, its called sharing the fucking reality of some peeps. a minor inconvenience of telling ur white friend that ur parents are not like that is not a big deal. and if some comedian is exaggerating, they are fucking strong to make a joke out of this absolute hell okay? no one attacked ur parents, stop making an issue out of this, literally no one asked u to feel bad about this. u aren't groundbreaking.
this is a structural cultural problem. and it's being finally fucking addressed. u r fucking very privileged to not have to experience it, so appreciate that and please stop invalidating others or attacking them "for giving the wrong impression" or "stereotyping" literally this is so dumb we also love our parents despite the shit its fucking okay to complain and vent out in different ways and we unlike u acknowledge it as more of a structural thingy than individual u r not the only one stop behaving like a messiah and get over ur superiority complex oh my god

You love someone? Tell them. You’re into someone? Tell them. You’re losing feelings for someone? Tell them. You dont want to be with someone? Tell them. Stop acting like the world revolves around you and recognise other people have feelings too. Why leave someone so unsure when you would hate that uncertainty yourself? You can’t expect someone to act appropriately if you don’t tell them how you feel. Of course they are going to become “too clingy” or “too distant” because they don’t know where they stand with you. Give them a sense of how you’re feeling and leave no stone unturned because the best decision you make, the best outcome you could possibly get, could lie under one of those stones. Be honest and tell people how you feel because life’s too short to go around, living a mistake.
