Can’t believe I forgot to post this here, but a few months ago, I decided to bind Creation Myth, the fic that @montrealmadison and I wrote! I made three copies, each with a different cover, and had a blast during the process.

For the purpose of this masterpost, I am defining binding as “any spell that can be utilized to prevent a person from performing any specific action, generally harmful in nature, by rendering them incapable or unable of doing so.”

There are other ways to utilize bindings of course - in the instance of keeping something closer to you - but the spells in this list will be relating to the definition I have listed above.

Which, honestly, is a good and fine practice for temporary relief from problems, but should not be used as an outright and complete solution to problematic behavior(s).

As always, self care and working on yourself mundanely should be done in conjunction with self bindings. Consultation with a doctor for any medically originated problems should also never be neglected. If you have medications that you need to be on, please take them for your own health and safety.

This is in no way can replace a smartphone, but I really wanted just an ability to download youtube podcasts and audio books etc., avoiding the temptation to search/scroll/browse as the device is not cellular, and connecting to public wifi network is not recommended due to a lack of up to date security updates.
