Question
So I am rewatching Selection Day and during the tour, Esmerelda tests the invisibility potion that the Second Years were working on ‘last term’. It’s already been mentioned that Esme has returned early from the holidays to help out, so how long has that brewed potion just been sitting in the girls’ cauldrons?
I kind of think that Hecate would have scrubbed (likely with magic) the whole lab from top to bottom so it was ready for the upcoming new term.
