Do you have any tips on how to seduce a man (normal one or celebrity)? You seem to be very confident woman with some experience
Neil Gaiman has great advice about this. To build on what he says, the thing I have discovered about seduction is that, like kissing ass, it doesn’t have to be subtle - in fact it sometimes works better when it’s not subtle. (At least I have found this true where seducing men is concerned - I don’t have a lot of experience seducing women.)Â
Besides things you can’t control, I have noticed that the things people find sexy are 1) being obviously wanted and 2) confidence. This can be overplayed and I’ve done that too, but if someone is even a little interested in you or open to the idea, you will suddenly become a lot more attractive if they know you are into them. Confidence is about how you carry yourself, but it’s also about not being self-conscious and not NEEDING their approval or interest. Make it clear you are interested, but you don’t **need** for them to be interested back. There’s a discomfort associated with feeling that this person who is interested in you is relying on you to make them happy. It’s why desperation is unattractive.Â
This confidence is unfortunately hard for some people to fake. If you are really, really into someone it can be hard to show only a little of that - many people show all or nothing. I feel now I should bring up the idea of game-playing, and how “nobody likes to play games,” but what may be a matter of self- or social preservation to one person may look like game-playing to someone else.Â
If you find that rare magic where two people are equally into each other right away, things will sometimes move very quickly, but courtship is a dance for a reason - when you move too quickly, sometimes you find yourself saddled with a partner who isn’t who you first thought he was/they were.Â
Anyway, back to seduction: normal person: ask them out. Ask them to dinner, or if you can’t afford that, on a hike, to a coffeeshop, or to an event celebrating whatever common interests you have. The invitation can be casual, but it should be clear that it’s a date. “Hey, would you like to go out sometime? I love doing _______ /I’m thinking of seeing ________ / you mentioned you like to _________ and so do I.” Text is fine if that’s less anxiety-causing than a phone call. If you really just want to fuck, text them at 10pm and ask if they want to come over. This is unlikely to be misinterpreted and has a good chance of success, but could lead to misunderstandings if it’s someone you actually want more than just sex from. Real relationships do sometimes grow out of “bootycall” relationships, but it’s far from a sure thing. Because a man will have sex with a woman he’s not attracted to just to have sex, so just because a bootycall works is not really an assurance that he’s interested in you.Â
Seducing celebrities is a little trickier, mostly because getting the opportunity is by far the hardest part with them. They are busy and everyone wants a piece. But let’s say you do get the opportunity - you GOTTA play it cool. Celebrities are going to be more hesitant if they know you are a fan because of the pressure of expectations and whatnot (see my first paragraph). But if you say you “think you recognize him from somewhere” and then strike up a conversation about oh say Stephen King, I think if you talk for a while it’s not inappropriate to ask for his number, or just ask him if he’d like to come over (depending where you are, etc). If you are a huge fan trying this approach you may want to take a Xanax or Atavan first because it can be really hard not to fangirl in front of your fave - and that will not get them in bed with you, I’m sorry to say.Â
Anyway, I hope something in this is useful or helpful to someone!
