When colour picking on monitors I'm not sure which one to trust, I have a huion gt156hdv2 and the lenovo monitor that's on the older side but my new phone matches closer to the Lenovo so I'm like, third guessing myself? What do you reccommend in this situation?
It depends on what medium you’re drawing for. If you’re drawing for print, you need to rely on the screen that is closest to “ pure “ white light. I think you can buy colour-correcting devices for your screens in case you want to re-calibrate.
Most PC's come with blue light to spare your eyes during long gaming sessions, which would probably be my next best alternative. But definitely lean more on the white light as it is closer to the natural light you’d see in print.
But if you’re drawing/designing for digital use, then there isn’t really much you can do to ensure everyone sees “ the same colour “, since the consumers that ‘ll view your content will also have their own computers, with their own separate light colour. If this is the case, just make sure your screen isn’t too dark ( my white light screen is rather bright so I can proof my darker pieces ), and just do whatever you gotta do.
