#scrap socks

Knitting some scrap socks for my sister. I think this is the first time ive ever gotten even width stripes over the gusset (because I changed yarns and its not self striping--I mostly use plain, gradient, or self striping sock yarn). It looks really nice ! I might have to do more of this. I found a TON of sock yarn scraps earlier so I should have the materials ! Pairing it my size is the hard part.

Anyway, just gotta finish the cuff and then pick up the other sock again. Im hoping these fit bc they look a little small.

Made this ankle sock out of scraps today. I parted the mini skeins of leftovers as equally as i could so tomorrow I should be able to make the matching Other Sock to this.

Me: Despite my best efforts I have not yet mastered necromancy.

My brain: Don't we H A T E the flat we're living in?? Let's look for a NEW FLAT!!!

Me: That's my father's opinion, not yours.

My brain: HOMOPHOBIA is ROTTING --

Me: Socks.

My brain: ...socks?

Me: You love knitting socks. Go look at the stash, get the most obnoxious colours.

My brain: ...socks? Allowed... to cast on... socks??

Me: Yes, you're totally allowed to cast on some socks right now.

My brain: Socks!!!!! \o/
