Paul: And then we get the other accent, which is the girls who would go to the dance hall in Liverpool, and it’s a very strange accent, that, because it’s all uh — 'Eh, Paul, sing for us, 'cos it's Chris and Irene. We went ‘round to Litherland Town Hall the other day…' That’s another one, you see. It’s very, uh – there’s many varied accents.

Paul: There’s nothing. There’s nothing in the offering you know. Engineer: No new films? Paul: No, well, yeah. But it’s not decided. You know. There’s nothing, uh— John: Worked out. Matthew: That’s a very good impression of Terry Doran. Paul: No, this is like the girls in Liverpool dance hall, really. I mean, everybody thinks you’re doing a queer when you do it. John: Yeah. Paul: Have you opened your stocking yet, John? John: I haven’t even taken it off. Paul: Ooh! Dave, you’ll have to cut that! John: Cut that, ’fraid, mister! Paul: You can’t leave that on, mister! Engineer: Splendid.
