Based on Kurt Schwitters’s “Murder Machine 43.”
Write a 18 line poem. The title should be an object followed by a two-digit number. Each respective line includes, or is bound, but not limited to, the following in order:
Contains a big number
uses the word /thine/
uses the word /thou/
two words, marking the end of a sentence
a complete sentence starting with the word “And”
contains two instances of the same noun, one singular, one plural
ends with an exclamation!
ends with a colon:
another big number
describes an object’s shape
contains the phrase “no more”
names a political system (e.g. “communism”)
uses the form, “I am…, because….”
Same as previous line
Contains a list
Names the day of week
Names an animal
Begins with “Ah” and repeats animal from previous line
