Let me dissect your heart
Tips on how to actually enjoy this school year!!
Figure out your sleep schedule while you can! If you're getting bad sleep then obviously school is going to be even more draining, the number one complaint I hear from my friends is that they're tired. Consider your own preferences when making a bed and wake up time, lets say school starts at 7 and you need at least one hour to get ready, if you're a morning person and enjoy having some time to do things before you start your day, you could give yourself 2 hours in the morning by going to bed at 8 pm and waking up at 5 am. Or if you're more of a night owl and want some time to unwind at night, you could go to bed at 9 pm and wake up at 6 am, these times also depend on how much sleep you personally need each night but refer to medical advice when figuring out your hours of rest. Also try and get the best sleep you can while you're sleeping and find things that make you fall asleep faster or make you more rested whatever that may be.
How to make the most of the morning of! Try and do some things the night before to alleviate stress in the morning but make sure these things are done before you leave the house.
1. Hygiene, Shower, brush your teeth and hair, deodorant, wash your face ect. This routine can also depend on if you shower in the morning or at night and your own cleanliness needs, but make sure you at least got the basics
2. Clothing, try and make an outfit you like before you go, it doesn't have to be super trendy or stylish just as long as you like it and feel like yourself in it. Don't worry about how others will feel about it if you're more alternative or prefer comfort over style just make sure you feel good in it and avoid old stuff with stains and holes if possible.
3. Supplies, Make sure you have everything you might want or need, obviously stationary, water, menstrual products, lunch if you need it, and stuff to beat school air. Also just anything that can help you get through the day like your phone, a good book, or a plushie.
4. Food, Ensure you have something to eat before school starts, it doesn't have to be a full meal it just depends on your preferences but skipping breakfast can make it harder to learn and make you have a worse day.
5. Commute, make sure however you get to school you can do it in time and you enjoy it, you can also listen to some music on your way there or do things that make you excited for school.
If you have extra time in the morning do things that will energize you and that you enjoy!
Notes and studies! You don't need super cute stationery unless you want it of course but make sure you're taking proper, readable notes, and you stay organized. Use different note taking hacks and styles and find out what's most efficient, understandable, and to the point. Keep all your notes, work, and general papers in sorted places you can find them that keep them intact. When it comes to studying use methods that actually help you and don't feel like sessions have to be very long, if you're doing it daily or at least a few times a week it should just be a review that helps you remember and understand the topics and should let you have at least some time to yourself after school. Take breaks and make sure you cover all the topics you need before you're done, also having a tidy, nice environment, and listening to music or brainwaves can help.
Enjoying school itself! Try to take classes you like with your electives and learn things that interest you, with your core classes though try and find at least something interesting about them or useful about them, I know school seems pointless sometimes but it's the education you're fortunate enough to get so try and make the most of it.
School spirit! This part does seem kind of pointless but it really does matter. A wise teacher once told me you don't have to actually like your school to have school spirit, it's just about supporting the people who go there with you. Even though the education system sucks and you might hate some of the teachers and staff and the way they do and handle things still be there for your classmates and community. Participate in school spirit days and fundraisers if you can, and go to sports games, plays, and concerts whenever possible, also participate in these things when they interest you. Your classmates should appreciate you being there for them even when you didn't have to.
Socialization! You don't have to be the most popular at school or have a lot of friends, just a few friends who are real is all you need. Try and introduce yourself and get to know a lot of people so you can see what everyone is about and get some social skills, don't be afraid to compliment strangers even if it's random or silly, if you notice something you like voice it. Not only will you make their day but they might like you more and see you as a more positive person. Pursue friendships that you want to but if someone isn't treating you right drop them.
Hope you have a good school year!!
Teachers were acting like stop, drop and roll was going to be something we had to do regularly.
i get this strange and sudden and strong anxiety when i think about the fact that exams are 26 days away exactly and also get strange sudden strong anxiety when i wanna write but the strange sudden strong anxiety about exams is battling it out and its winning

i really really really need a new and better brain installed, how is it the first week of class and i fucking forgot textbooks existed
Hey! I’ve seen your posts about university lately—it sounds so interesting. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your major?
Also, I’m really curious about how education works in your country. I only know that classes start in August (which is wild to me🫠). Would love to hear more ^^
Hellooooo, I already had a space among my spaces and school projects
Well, I'm studying psychology, I think I'll specialize in psychiatry or as a second option in the clinical area to give therapy and so on ✨🤓
And to say what education is like is a complex question, because in my country education is not very good 🥲 there are no good study plans with what one needs for what one wants to dedicate oneself or if there are but they are far from your home and you must travel to another state or city, luckily it is close to me 🏙️
We work by semesters, which I think is better 'cause we can have more vacation time like 2 months on summer 🏖️ and two months on winter 🏔️ It depends on whether I pass all my exams, otherwise I have to go and take them again to pass, and that takes away vacation days ☹️
And at least in my school we do campaigns or workshops twice a semester to promote solutions or teach something about a topic or problem (Which means I have almost no free time)
And I don't know what else to say, it all depends on the area and the state a person is in 🤔
