school math is evil because it tells you that math is just getting things right. surviving. read these numbers write these numbers get this grade. it forces you to give up on math. it locks you out from the full potential of math. because math isn't supposed to be shitty and frustrating it's supposed to tell the future. explain the world. build giants in your head. it's supposed to be so much more but because school makes learning the fundamentals such hell, no one actually wants to get to the real point of it anymore
