IB anon---if you don't mind, what schools are you trying to get into? the full dp and your gpa should definitely be a good boost
so i applied ED to Boston University (like 40 on the usnews listing) and got deferred, and i was waiting until i heard back from them to apply to all my other schools. but i have a very strong fear of failure and ended up talking myself out of applying to other schools i wanted to (I was going to apply to Cornell, Harvard, Hopkins, UPenn, UChicago, and a few others).
so the only two top 50 schools i applied to were BU and Northeastern, and the rest are schools that I dont really want to go to but convinced myself I did because i was scared (UConn, Suffolk, UMass, Temple, PSU, and a few others i don't remember 😭😭)
#genuinely think that it's because i didn't do enough extracurriculars but covid + moving really fucked that up for me. the only real ones i#had were softball and volleyball and the fact that i've been captain of the softball team for the past 2 years. and i do travel softball#and am also captain of that#and i was in the foreign language club but other than that I didn't do too much because of covid and moving my sophomore year <#also my sat score wasn't great but it was well within bu's range so i did an experiment and applied to northeastern w/o sat scores#not that you care lol#taylor answers#anon#ask tag#school asks
