hit that mfing reblog button if ur being smothered by the weight of the void tonight, lads
they are unaccustomed to the cold nothing that pours from our lips and radiates from our skin, and to the endless inky dark of our eyes. they are afraid, and those who are afraid will hurt you.
being schizoid and having depression at the same time is really weird
like i don’t feel blatantly “sad”
just kinda heavy and numb
living in a constant state of numbness wasn't exactly how i thought my life would turn out

anger and sadness are the emotions i don't understand at /all/. i get vague contentment, vague restlessness, 'schizoid hunger'/undirected severe restlessness, hmm-would-rather-not disgust, and a few things on the spectrum of anxiety ( which might be from comorbid ocd ) but not in the way most people seem to experience anxiety. ( i've noticed a lot of schizoid people seem to mostly experience contempt/resentment/irritation, though, which is interesting? it's the opposite of my experience. )
@ anger anon
yes, the rare, vague almost-emotions are what most schizoids experience. from what i’ve gathered, schizoids who understand emotions like anger and sadness and feel them more strongly than other almost-emotions are probably experiencing that from one of their disorders, if they are comorbid.
as for contempt, resentment, and irritation, i’m not sure why some schizoids experience those. once again, add on if you have any thoughts on this topic.
