Fun fact, everybody. Darkseid's Legion isn't the first time DC tried to do an "Evil Legion."
When Marv Wolfman was writing the New 52 Superboy series, there was a plan for Jon Lane Kent (or whatever the fuck his name was) to encounter evil versions of the Legion Founders. Joe Prado even did a design for an evil Lightning Lad (which I own).
The characters that DID appear in the story were distanced some from their inspirations, named Schiz, Volt, and Lodestone
