you know theres a lot of posts (rightfully) pointing out that you dont need makeup and how its forced on people and your face is fine actually. Which is a good thing, however, I think we need more posts like that about artificial scents.
You don't need to wear perfume, you don't need to wear cologne, your natural scent is fine actually. You really don't need anything more then scentless deodorant to be fine. Don't let anyone tell you its more professional or that its required to be seen as attractive or pretty or anything. You smell perfectly fine as is as long as you wash yourself and have basic deodorant. You are not less of a professional or less attractive or anything just because you dont wear scents.
Along with that if you DO wear scents for the love of all that is holy please remember that a lot of people have allergies or sensitivities to it, and you "smelling nice" is never worth actively bringing perfumes and the like into places that are supposed to be scentless.
Especially if you know it's for medical reasons, and don't whip it out randomly in an enclosed space. I cannot tell you how many times as a kid I huddled under my jacket coughing my lungs out because some other kid decided now was the perfect time to put on 20 pounds of perfume and it made it hard for me to breathe.
It's fine to like perfume, but don't think its mandatory and remember not everyone around you may be able to handle fragrances like them.
