I made this drawing inspired by the "Lab Partner" animation of Aquello and Neil. Ignio is trying to do the work right, but Scarella just saw Neil's explosion and she certainly won't try to do the same (and better)π
I love Ignio and Scarella both so much together, whether platonically or romantically, and they are also my favorites, so I couldn't help but portray this duo. First fanart of them, and hopefully not the last. I've got plenty more in mind!
I had this idea at the last minute and did the drawing in a huge rush. And I still sent it late π I hope I can still participate!

change in plans for 'she's alive!' y'all, since it's halloweekend, this gives me wiggle room!! i was 3/4 done writing chapter 3 when i reread what i got so far and realized its gonna be a fucking doozy posted as the initial way with everything lumped together in one chapter, so im gonna split it into two chapters bc it just makes sense, trust me, so many things happen in chapter 3 it'd read so weirdly if it was all together. also it prevents me from burning out from writing 5k+ word chapters in half a day consecutively lmaoo
so instead of four chapters, 'she's alive!' will have five, and each chapter until we reach the end will be published over the course of halloweekend, since technically ppl are celebrating halloween events during the weekend too (i know i am haha), so it's still halloweeny.
(im also planning on posting a separate chapter as an alternate ending for the fic, too, as a bonus, so that, if i ever feel like pursuing this idea further, i can pick it back up from the alternate ending, and make like a sequel! :D)

scarlett and ella could be so good guys. I really don't like ships where one is ~healing~ the other because it promotes unhealthy expectations in relationships but scarella would help each other in the best ways. i feel like ella would convince scarlett to seek therapy and bring out a softer and less pessimistic side of her, and scarlett could help teach ella how to assert herself and stop seeking validation from those who don't care for her. plus they would b cute gfs. imagine scarlett going on and on about physics and ella intently listening the whole time as if she's reading her a fairytale. dates to gardens where ella points out the flowers she thinks are pretty and scarlett tells her a bunch of fun facts. and scarella works better than sc*x and amylett in so many ways. ella would never undermine scarlett's intelligence or reduce her to only her usefulness. scarlett would enjoy ella's company, compassion, and willingness to learn and listen. also they have a princess peach and daisy color palette.... guys.
