Asriel had occupational therapy right after school, to help him with fine motor skills like writing and using utensils he’s having to relearn in his new body (I call it “eating practice”), but apparently he was unaware of how changing classes works, and he left his books in every single classroom he was in. So I, being the kind and generous sibling I am, told him I’d go back into the schoolhouse to find all seven of his notebooks while Mom drove him to eating practice so he wouldn’t be late.

I found the first notebook on a desk before long, but the math teacher made me solve math problems before I could take the notebooks. Half of the problems were impossible. And when I got the first impossible problem wrong, he started chasing me around the school with a ruler.

Naturally, because this wasn’t strange enough, the principal (who forced me into detention for 15-second intervals for running in the halls even though school was out), other students, and a few bizarrely sapient craft projects joined in soon after. And whenever the math teacher caught me, his ruler somehow electrocuted me and I had to reload! Frisk kept texting me asking what was going on and offering to send help or something, but I told them that I could do this myself. I will admit, I was having fun having my own adventure.

But then, when I got all seven notebooks, the exits kept disappearing! At this point Asriel texted me and said that Mom had called the Foundation already, but luckily I was able to find the real exit right as they got there. So I emerged, sweaty and bleeding from a cut on my cheek, to my whole family waiting outside terrified and an armored car just pulling up, and I strutted away, never once looking back, and pulled out Azzy’s notebooks with a dramatic flourish and said, “Got your notebooks,” in as deep a tone of voice as I could manage.

Of course, then Asriel started crying and telling me that I was more important than some stupid notebooks and why didn’t I call for help right away and he could’ve lost me again and didn’t I know by now that I didn’t need to be a lone wolf badass (my Asriel actually said that word!) to be worth something, so I pointed out that the only reason he wanted to go to human school was to prove himself, but then he pointed out that so did I, and then my badass moment was lost because we both started laughing at ourselves, but Asriel and Frisk did demand all the details from me afterwards and cheer me on in the telling, so I did end up feeling very proud of myself in the end.

So yeah, Asriel and I are sticking with monster school for now, and that’s just fine. I have decided that I don’t need to go to human school to feel good about myself. (Partially because I managed to defeat a Stage 4 reality bender - apparently that’s what the math teacher was - while in a state of fight or flight mode or something after spending a full day with other human children.)

Oh, and the MTF they sent executed the math teacher for being a Stage 4 reality bender, arranged to have the principal fired and social workers look in on all those weird kids, and confined the sentient sock, broom, and art project as SCPs, which I should probably feel bad about. But I don’t.

(The MTF leader  also told me that I was “one tough cookie”, which made me laugh because they don’t even know the half of it - but I now have a job offer from the SCP Foundation one day, and I do not know if that is a compliment or an insult.)

So all in all, human school - I would recommend it, it provides great growth, but only if you are bored.

Welcome to my proof of concept (read: short “music video” with no music put together in 10 minutes) on “Love Like You” and Undertale!

This video was put together by me and whatever unwitting characters I could find on the phenomenal Roblox game (WIP) Undertale RP by siqk between 8:30 and 9:00 pm EST and then a little before 10:00 pm EST on December 19, 2019 (with some help from the Roblox censors).

(Yes, Chara is a ghost following Frisk around/Frisk’s body actually, but when they interact with other characters, the other characters know it is them. No, this is not Chara/Sans; Sans would be Chara’s friend, I think, and he was the only character around. I intended for Chara to go back after pacifist to find Asriel gone, not a reset, but take it however you want! Also, the reason Asriel never shows up at any point is because I couldn’t find any Asriels; interpret the scene with Flowey however you want as well.)

We’re going for a winter hike to celebrate, which I think is unfair because I don’t have fur, but Asriel’s going to set me and Chara on fire when Mom and Dad aren’t looking to keep us warm. Alphys and Undyne are going to an anime con dressed as Mew Mew and her boyfriend Purry, RG01 and RG02 are apparently spending the day fighting each other but romantically, Dog Marriage are going bird hunting (which basically means chasing geese around), Papyrus is giving valentines to everyone in the Underground plus our social worker and every human in Ebbot City who’s ever been kind to us and is bribing Sans with chocolate to use his shortcuts to help hand them out, I brought a load of candy home from school on Friday and the other kids even brought extra for me to bring to Chara and Asriel - I brought butterscotch-cinnamon swirl brownies that I made - and Mom and Dad are going to a really fancy restaurant and staying the night at a fancy hotel, and we get to stay home alone for the first time!!! It’s really - we finally trust humans enough for Mom and Dad to leave us alone even when the Underground’s full of humans on a regular basis, and Chara and Asriel are okay! That first week, Mom and Dad didn’t ever want to leave us alone, and they were reading books about child trauma whenever we weren’t looking... but we’re okay now. We’ve come so far, and I have more love than I’d ever dreamed of having... I can just breathe it in sometimes, the whole Underground is full of it, and my houses especially.

I hope you all have a great day full of love, even if you don’t have a significant other, and that if you do they love you as much as you deserve!
