After a sudden mishap with the CORE, Sans end up getting stuck in the DC Universe.

Somehow, throughout all of that mess, he stumbled his way upon dating a man known as The Nightwing. He's not complaining about that, he is just wondering if there's a way home after all... And if there is, will people still remember him after all.

so, you might have watched my animatic about The Origins of the Surface Monsters either on Youtube, Tumblr, or Tiktok (thanks to @i-cant-solve-sudoku I don't have one lol)

I wanna explain more about the origins, more specifically, the goat monster in the animatic.

Incase you didn't know, the goat monster is the first monster who eat a human in the origins. He is also the ancestor of Pierrot, that's why Pierrot is a goat monster in the AU.

I decided to give the monster a name, considering how important he is during the origins. Even if he is forgotten in the pages of history, he deserved to have his name known here at least.

Privora. The one who changed the fate for the Surface Monsters.

His name is a combination of two words. Primum (first) and Vorator (devourer). Basically, his name sorta translates to "The First Devourer".

He was present during The War of Humans and Monsters. Infact, he was there before the War. Before humans turned on monsters. He had to witness the sealing of his friends and family.

During his act fueled by desperation, you may not see it properly but Privora is seen struggling not to throw up after the first bite. I don't think eating another sentient species, especially one whom you treated like equals, is going to be easy.

Privora didn't just went and convinced his friends and family to just eat humans. He almost didn't want to. He wanted to forget what he did. He wanted to forget how his own desperation and circumstances pushed him to this point.

The guilt, regret and shame was eating him alive..

However, he couldn't leave his remaining friends to fall down and dust. He couldn't leave his kin to slowly starve to death.

So, he went out and found a recently deceased human. He harvested the flesh and brought it all the way back to where his kin are hiding.

The meat he brought was of unknown origin to them, but they didn't care at the moment. Privora had found and provided food to them. So, they ate it, ignoring the awful taste iron clad of it. They couldn't afford to be picky, they haven't been able to produce food themselves in a while.

Watching as his family hungrily devour the flesh he carried here. As they were able to sedate their hunger. As they consumed a human being unknowingly.
