I find it hilarious when people say Toriel doesn't deserve Asgore when it's the complete opposite.
Okay, let's say hypothetically Asgore manages to prove that he only wanted to protect others. Tell me, will that change the fact that Toriel is NO LONGER romantically attracted to him?
I mean, you don't have to be a genius to realize that in all their current interactions, Toriel is uncomfortable around him. That woman doesn't want his ass.
Flowers won't bring her back. Asgore doesn't understand that giving her flowers to remind her of the past instead of having a serious talk about it simply won't work. Besides, it's certainly strange that he's followed her around twice now.
And given that her strongest value is her integrity, it would be extremely strange to see her change her opinion about Asgore so drastically.
Do I think they should have a talk and confront their chaotic feelings and come to an agreement to resolve their problems, not only for their own sake, but also for Kris's, above all?
