Olive oysterlings (Sarcomyxa serotina)
I remember these lovely little oysterlings were desiccated in the relatively dry weather, leaving them much tougher than their usual soft, quite gelatinous appearance.Â
Some field guides report that these are edible, but that’s dubious, and in any case they’re quite insubstantial.Â
