🪴 #happilyeverafter 🪴 QOTD: do you like your books to have HEA’s or do you like more of an open ending? I’m wanting to reread this, I remember not loving this but I definitely enjoyed it. Everything was going great. Now they’re nemesis. We have a couple who are engaged and no longer want to be, but they’re stuck. If she cancels the wedding, she has to for the $20k bill and vice versa. But here’s the thing, she doesn’t have $20,000 dollars. So now Nicholas and Naomi are at odds as to who will call off the wedding. 🍁Monthly Wrap Up🍁 So, I plan on finishing You Deserve Each Other and Storm Siren today. I’m enjoying both but Storm Siren has got me all kinds of confused. 😅 The Lies About Truth so far is my favorite. 😭 The Unhoneymooners it was enjoyable! But I didn’t like it like most seem to love it. Overall though, I’ve enjoyed my reads and I can’t wait to get to the end! They never failed to entertain me throughout the book and I loved how they found each other by the end of the story. After all, they truly deserved each other no matter what.💞 . You already know my favorite genre is fantasy. I read lots of fantasy books and I'm never bored. But I love other types of books too and romance is one of them! This year started with The Deal and I've loved it SO MUCH, but I think I've found another favorite contemporary romance. . Except from Kinsella I've never laughed that hard with a book as I did with You deserve each other by Sarah Hogle. . This is a beautifully written story that I've adore with all my heart because is not as simple as it seems at the beginning: what happens when all the people around you thinks you're in a perfect relationship and you feel otherwise but can't express it? Is it right to start a life together with someone you feel you're loving less then it should be? And how can you express your dissatisfactions when your partner seems consider all perfectly fine? But even more important, how can you fight for your love? . I've found that and more in a book full of fun, spites, but also emotions and moments of reflection! I easily empathized with Naomi because I understand too well lots of thing and thoughts she has been through, but I was also able to discerne what was exaggerated and emphasized by the entire situation. Nicholas point of view helped a lot. I disliked him at the beginning but then I understood that has been on purpose,so we could process all as Naomi did but with a more objective eye. I've laughed and cried lots of times because the message of this book took my heart bare handed. It has been a great lesson on love and relationships, thank you Sarah. My only remark is that the end seemed a little bit hasty and I would have liked to see what would happened next! 😱 I had a lot of questions 😱 so I hope Sarah will change her mind one day and gives us a book 2 🥺💙 . 🌸 New book alert! You Deserve Each Other by @sarah_hogle comes out tomorrow, April 7. The romance is so heartwarming and the writing is wonderful. There were lines that really tugged at my heart. . 🌸 This is a hate-to-love romance between a struggling couple. Nicholas and Naomi are engaged to be married but have been very unhappy for a long time. They hit a boiling point which results in them pulling pranks on each other to see who will call off the wedding first. We see the pranks go from mean to friendly as these two learn to pull down their walls and be vulnerable with one another. . 🌸 I loved this book a lot. Full review is up on my blog and Goodreads!
