TODAY, the Ohio State House is going to vote on SB 63, which bans Ranked Choice Voting for Ohio. RCV is a useful tool that provides an incentive for non-establishment politicians to run for election, and helps depolarize the system away from always being forced to vote R or D regardless of how much you like the candidate.

Ohio currently does not have RCV, and this bill pre-emptively prohibits Ohio voters from exercising their right to choose to get it in the future.

Republicans are trying to ban RCV because it can help weaken their stranglehold on a state they've already gerrymandered to dangerous levels. This is not the first time they've attempted to subvert the will of voters, and it won't be the last.

Ignore all our responsibilities.

Leave the life that we have

And continue down the road.

Don't stop until we're hungry or out of gas.

Or both.

It's fun to pretend.

I suppose we should turn around.

Focus on our responsibilities.

Maybe we can get lost another day.
