Every time you try to hold another woman accountable, other women come in with “stop trying to bring another woman down,” “bird,” or “pick me.” It reminds me of how Black men react when you try to hold them accountable for colorism, misogyny, femicide, and similar issues; they’ll say you’re trying to “bring a Black man down.” It’s the same script, just with different genders, lmao. People don’t like being held accountable for their actions, or for calling out others. There’s never a “right time” to speak on it, so it just ends up getting swept under the rug.
