Do you think Sam fell in love with himself when he saw himself from the other timeline or do you think he's always loved himself in that way? Like, in the motel bathrooms he would just stare at himself for hours after taking a showering or just going to the bathroom, admiring his body until he got yelled at for taking too long.

Ooooh, I absolutely love the idea of Sam becoming autosexual after fusing with Hell!Sam and Soulless!Sam as a sort of psychosexual response to having to basically "kill" himself. Remembering fighting with Soulless and being like "Wow, that's how tall I am? That's how strong I am?" and then with Hell!Sam all he felt was the overwhelming desire to comfort himself and wrap him up in his arms and whisper sweet, gentle nothings to him.

When he finally wakes up from fusing and sees himself in the mirror, he is absolutely obsessed with trying to see if there is any little part of those Sams left behind his eyes. Sometimes he touches his body, especially right after while he still has the body Soulless kept in peak condition for a year, and imagines its them. Then when he goes through the trials is when he feels most intimate for Hell!Sam. It's the closest he can get to self-love, imagining its those two he is caressing or interacting with in his fantasies.
