I don't think I'm every gonna stop being angry that I am 33 years old, I have been a parent for 12 years, a spouse for 10 years and a motherless child for 10.5 years and I am STILL getting fucking smacked in the face by breakthroughs, revelations & epiphanies about my childhood and my upbringing and the adults the raised me.
I'm tired of limping to my friends with bleeding wounds saying 'I'm okay, I just remembered something else'
I'm sick of seeing myself in fictional characters in a fictional world who are seriously unstable. And then questioning why they seem to have their shit together better than me.
I'm not saying Sam Winchester is the king of mental health, I'm just saying i bet he doesn't lie away at 2am wondering what made him so damn unlovable to everyone around him.
He had a Dean. He had someone who would die for him, and live for him, and love him.
My mother died as she lived... selfishly. With only her wants to be considered. And I hate her for it. And I love her, miss her, need her.
I'm tired of giving grace to the dead. I'm tired of saying 'I understand why x' I'm tired of pretending I'm not furious at these people.
laying here under the ceiling fan, limbs spread akimbo, feeling like Sam Winchester with a storm knocking on the window

hi ! this literally took so long to make and probably isn't super accurate but here u go !! also, βgirlβ in this quiz is totally gender neut
ok guys i made a quiz to determine which spn character youβre coded as, and which character ur a fan of !!! let me know if its accurate at all bc this is the first time ive tried making one of these and i was very confused.
jack, whose entire childhood is centered on them being a "freak" because of their powers, who was mistrusted and threatened to be killed by their own father figure, who was inadvertently the cause of their mother's (and mary's) death, and who was almost manipulated into using their powers for things they had no intention of doing by the person who was responsible for them in the first place, even though they themself never wanted to do anything but good and save/change the world:
me:
Since you explained it to a friend can you also explain to me what 'coded' means...i dont get it :/
I love that my silly little shit post is still going around.
I answered another ask about it here in more detail, but the very tl;dr part of it is:
Being dean/cas/sam-coded is essentially "kinning" a character, as the kids say. This is the character a person relates to most on the show or sees themselves most in.
This is different from dean/cas/sam-girls who simp that character in whatever way they choose to simp (/thirst).
All of these combinations are annoying in their own ways.
In true dean-coded fashion, I am a casgirl. This gives me very unpopular opinions among many, but I am also correct so.
Hope this helps! πππ
