Excited to share the latest addition to my #etsy shop: Hand Crafted Pen - Marine Corps Inlay This particular pen shipped to a customer 2 days ago, but I can always make more! I always love making Marine Corps pens, but I can also make this pen for any branch of service. The body of the pen is made of Big Leaf Maple with a natural finish. It's then laser engraved and hand painted before going to the lathe for shaping. Afterwards, it gets sanded and 15+ coats of protective clear coat are applied before final sanding and polishing to a glass like finish. The hardware is a bolt action style click pen with a ballpoint ink refill. The finish is done in an antique brass. As with all my bolt action pens, there's a great amount of engraved detail work on the hardware. Excited to share the latest addition to my #etsy shop: Hand Crafted Pen - US Army Flag Today feels like a good day to show some military appreciation. Not that there's ever a bad day for that. Every day is a good day to be thankful for the sacrifices our veterans (past and present) have made for us. Today's pens is a bolt action style click pen with a ballpoint ink refill. The hardware is a pewter finish with lots of great details. My favorites are the soldier saluting engraved at the bottom of the pen and "Salute the troops" at the top of the pen. The body if the pen is laser engraved and then hand painted with the Army emblem over the American flag.
