This is post show, going through the reasons why Atem comes back to the world. There's a lot of fics out there about Atem coming back, but few exploring why and I love that this does that. Including addressing Atem's guilt around it. Shouldn't rewards be appreciated?
I'm not sure how I found this fic - I think one of the author's stuff inspired a fic I'm following on Ao3? - but now I'm going through everything they've written for the fandom so...expect more recs.

I (very roughly) sketched (on post-it notes) humanoid Tikki and Plagg from @tsuki-chibiââs Dad Plagg and Mom Tikki verse on Ao3. Most human versions Iâve seen of them come off as fairly childish looking, it was interesting trying to imagine them as more adult figures.
