Core Pilates on Hands and Knees . But The first step...Learning the Neutral Spine Hello again Pilates and Yoga Lovers, it’s Annie. The second video in our free 6-part video series just went live. Click the link @anniepilatesphysicaltherapist In this video, we’re going to show you how to get started with one of PIlates Fundamentals, learning the Neutral spine and massively improving your core engagement and natural curvature awareness of your spine and mind body connection. Let's start by recognizing that every person's body is anatomically different and every spine is anatomically different. Sure, we all have the same parts in the same order, but there are variances in what those parts look like or how they are shaped. Therefore your neutral spine is exclusive to you. It will probably not look like mine, or the instructor, or insta model or the person on the mat next to you. That's ok, that's normal. Neutral spine refers to the natural shape of your spine without any additional flexion or extension of any of the spinal curves (neck and low back being the major spinal curves referred to here). #neutralspine #pilates #coreworkout #coreexercises #safeworkout #pilatesfundamentals #sciatica #sciaticasucks #lowbackpain #lowbackpainrelief #lowbackpainsucks #sciaticarelief #flexibility #physicaltherapy #physicaltherapist #backmasterclass #strongercore #backexercises #backstretches #evidencebasedpractice #tighthipflexors #tightback #poorposture #posturefix #posturecorrection #lordosis #sciaticapain #physicaltherapist #coreexercises #plankvariation https://www.instagram.com/p/CDRO8FJl33Q/?igshid=netmrsrtylxc
