abby avoids her mother and her brother's disappearance, relapses again. carter comes back from holiday early for her, doesn't sleep at all, deals with her mother, does a half-shift on his day off and deals with a heavy patient death. and abby says he should run a mile because she and her life is terrible all negative ego-style

and they don't talk about anything real; they don't talk about her relapse or how carter can't actually factually be with someone who isn't in recovery with him, they don't talk about her avoidance, and they don't talk about the reason why he is so drawn to her and so insistent to braze through all the red flags, his needy insistence of wanting to fix people

and i know it’s suppose to be a brother moment bc they’re low key fighting but do you think Dean feels that about Cas? I mean he kept his coat... why? because he hope the chair would be filled again..

People seem to ignore the fact that Dean cares about Cas a lot... whether you believe in Destiel or not.
