first time rue gets to play daybreaker after eggman pretty much stole it from them they break its strings and run to sonic crying sobbing and heaving about it like "SONIIIIIIC I BROKE HERRRRR I'M A MONSTERRRRRR"
thankfully sonic has a couple guitars and extra strings lying around and helps them replace daybreaker's broken ones. he doesn't get why they're so emotional about it at first but he comforts them anyway. clearly it's a big deal To Them and he's not about to make them feel worse
rue's too scared to play daybreaker for a while thinking they're gonna cause more damage but eventually they start playing songs on it again. they just needed a nail trim and a guitar pick lol
