(it's carter, your mind just doesn't go there.) the image that carter shares, that he breaks for himself at the end of the episode. that carter's not really like the other addicts; he's an honorable addict. he got addicted because he almost died. he's not a junkie, so he wouldn't relapse, even though he administers drugs, he's around and handling drugs all the time in a very high pressure work environment.
and peter's the last person he would admit that to. he basically begs peter not to talk to weaver. i so hate that they drop this storyline right here, and never go back to it. peter is pissed off that carter relapsed, avoids him. and then ?
