(On the matter of isabeau and Odile’s hats looking too similar) maybe giving isabeaus hat sone of his clothing design fashion tacked on would help? They got the hats to protect themselves, but isabeau seems the type to tack of some of his stripes to the top, or some tassels/dangly bits to the brim, like a ring of ding or alternating ribbon-twirlers.
