First meetings

We have both lost and still we live on

I called it Shine and Sparkle, and I think I posted one chapter on fanfiction.net. it's basically a Canon divergence where Shuichi never made it to Girls and instead Ryuichi finds him. He takes him home and helps clean him up and tucks him into bed.

One of my favorite parts of this one is how Ryu handles the Aizawa scene. Him and K go meet with him, and Ryu punches the wall and is in serious mode (don't fuck with Ryuichi sakuma in serious mode) when the other 2 bozos move to help Aizawa, K cocks his gun. Ryu takes the film and leaves the room, to head upstairs and meet with Tomoe.

K makes mention that Shuichi is in the building BC Kumagoro is in the building. Ryu asks k to destroy the film.

Ryu finds Shuichi waiting to meet with Tomoe (to end his contract cuz of the blackmail) and Ryu convinces Shuichi to go back to his apartment, or just wait for him. He hides his bloodied hand from Shu

Ryu meets with Tomoe and Tomo notified Ryus broken hand immediately and wants to know what happened.

Since Yuki is not involved in this timeline, he does not take his own vengeance, but it goes how he blacklists Aizawa's group. The only radio station that will play their music is one of those "in between" stations that is almost impossible to tune, and usually only available at 3 in the morning. And their CDs are only found in bargain bins. No company anywhere will sign them, and their fans seem to forget about them due to Bad Lucks rise in popularity and Nittle Grasper's reunion

Eventually Shuichi gets the courage to talk to Ryu about what Aizawa did.

"Shining Collection is performed by a duet with NG and BL. (Minus the female from NG... 3 synths is too many in a live performance) [the battle of the bands does not happen in this au]

It ends basically with Yuki asking to talk with Shu, and says he found out what happened via Tomo and says he feels somewhat responsible.
