Tag Game: Your Cdrama Harem
Inspired by @wangcairen's recent updates to her harem, I'm now curious:
Prompt: Who would you keep in your Cdrama harem and what would they be like?
Palace of Lasting Happiness: Cheng Lei
Don’t let the dorky uncle energy during his interviews fool you. My prized Noble Consort is NOT low maintenance. Had to hike up some land taxes and skimp out on a new river drainage system to fund the dark room, torture chamber, and special bath for all his little hobbies. But I just can't deny him when he gifts me that signature side-eye and “do you still think I’m gentle?” growl. Folding like a paper plate every time.
Palace of Eternal Longevity: Takeshi Kaneshiro
He's been highly favored for over two decades at this point so what better way to take care of him in retirement than giving him a quiet space away from the drama to do his gardening and flower arrangements.
Palace of Earthly Tranquility: Liu Xueyi
Wangcairen and I are timesharing him and I'd like to claim him for winter so we can snuggle under all those furs as he helps me balance the treasury budget. I'd totally promote him to Empress if he ever wanted to go full-time because he's too cool and uncompromising to let the drama get to him. In the evenings, I have him record dirty audio dramas and my favorite Analects so I can listen to that glorious voice whenever he’s gone.
Palace for Gathering Elegance: Chen Kun
His hair is always immaculate so he's been assigned to flatiron my hair every morning while we talk politics and strategy. A bit weird though so I leave him to own devices most of the time with a few well-placed spies to make sure he's not trying to rebel outside of visiting hours.
Hall of the Supreme Pole: Zhang Linghe
The ones who know...know.
Is there a more appropriate palace for the Left-sided God?
Other members of the harem: Elvis Han, Jasper Liu, Jing Boran, Chen Jingke
Looks and charm so all of them are trouble with a capital T.
I really need to hire a handler one of these days.
