It’s interesting that this is what I’m becoming known for around here, but I’m happy to help!Based on what you’ve told me, your best bet would probably be using a menstrual cup over pads; they can be used for up to twelve hours at a time and can hold more than many pads can. If you’re like me and that isn’t an option for you, for whatever reason, you could make pads work. They aren’t too different from disposable pads in terms of how often you need to change them. They also come in different sizes and absorbency levels, so you could find something that would do the job for you. You would also probably want to invest in a good wet/dry bag so that you can change your pads wherever you are, and a travel-sized bidet could also be good, to make sure you’re feeling clean after you change; I found one online for about $12 and I still use it all the time. (I used to have quite the travel kit for times when I wasn’t home often. I also carried Wysiwipes for help cleaning up extra messes.)The added benefit of cloth pads for a lot of people is that their flow tends to decrease, like mine did after I switched from disposables. Can’t promise that will happen for you, but it’s a common side effect. Something else you could look into is period underwear, which I’m a huge fan of right now. Combining reusable pads with underwear that can absorb anything that makes it past your pad if you can’t get it changed in time would add some security for you. I’m not sure where you’re from, but there are a ton of companies making period undies around the world. My favorites are from Lunapads here in Canada. Hope that helps!
