#Repost @rondepewwoodworking ・・・ If you use a lot of templates to flush trim your projects check into the Whiteside spiral flush trim bits (model #’s RFT5125 & RFT5200). These bits are solid carbide and leave a very smooth finish (and they are made in the USA). Grain direction doesn’t seem to matter with these bits, I’ve yet to have any issues with kickback or tear out. Yes these are expensive but they can be sharpened many, many times. Trust me, you will never go back to straight flush trim bits after trying these. Also get yourself a @microjig GRR-RIPPER, a fantastic safety product!
