Both Simo and Loki share the fact that they both did horrible things and hate themselves for everything they've done:

Simo has killed many people and always remembers the deaths he caused during the war, and the fact that for his Volundr to work he has to sacrifice his organs represents Simo's guilt, since Simo feels the pain he causes his targets as a form of self-punishment for taking the lives of others.

Loki was driven by jealousy of Siegfried and desperation to avoid losing Brunhilde, which led him to frame Siegfried for a crime he didn't commit and unwittingly he facilitated Odin's plans which leads to Siegfried's imprisonment. This nearly destroyed Loki's friendship with Brunhilde, and Brunhilde decided to participate in the tournament in an attempt to save Siegfried.

The difference is that Simo doesn't justify himself in the context of the war, but rather takes responsibility for his actions and seeks to "redeem" himself by sacrificing his organs and fighting for humanity. Loki never takes responsibility for what he did; he fights under the false guise of a jester and joker because deep down, Loki knows that everything that happened is his fault and hates himself for it but instead of taking responsibility for his actions, he only unleashes his wrath on others.

As we know first 7 and last 7 rounds are parallels but the strategies, win cons and general abilities of fighters are reversed, so if a humanity fighter from first 7 rounds used specific strategy/ability/style then the strategy/ability/style of a similar sort will be used by a god fighter from last 7 rounds and vice versa

So for R4 and R11 we have:

- Heracles and Simo - both having limited use abilities that cause them extreme pain, Heracles has Exodus the tattoo that kills him if it covers his whole body and it spreads every time he uses his abilities, while Simo has Reaper's Contract that if used excessively will kill Simo. Heracles only used/tried to use 4 abilities aka. Lion, Birds, Bull and Cerberus could that be a hint that Simo will only shot 4 bullets, thus far he only used 3 so as a final killing blow to Loki the 4th one must be used.

- Loki and Jack - both using trickery and fake weapons with a touch, gods in their own right are weapons, Valkyries being a literal weapons in their cases, so Jake infusing the common objects with divine power is in turn similar to what Loki is doing, both Herc and Simo must watch out for any fake God or weapon so they must guard from anything thrown at them

For passed rounds quick summery:

R1 and R8:

- Thor and Tesla - both using electricity base attacks and focus on squashing their enemies, also PPP and Thor's Hammer have a very similar look to their execution

- Beel and Lu Bu - both using intimidation and aiming to kill from the start, not playing around tactics

R2 and R9:

- Zeus and Leo - both aiming for quick end to the fight, bruit force + blitzing tactics

- Apollo and Adam - both playing under their opp rules, Apollo following the rules Leo placed while Adam only using moves used by Zeus

R3 and R10:

- Poseidon and Okita - both get bloodlust power boost and increase in their speed and later aiming at speed blitzing their opp

- Susanoo and Sasaki - both evolving their sword skills throughout the match

Now this win con cross parallel changes the theory a bit, so for the last 3 round here are the predictions:

R5 and R12:

- Shiva and Kintoki - both gaining redness in their skin after a final power boost, in myths about Kintoki his skin would turn red when he reaches his peak strength while Shiva in his power boost form Tandava Karma gets red skin

- Anubis and Raiden - both have extreme body control/transformation and aim to play with their opp, since Anubis is portrayed as an animalistic character he could have a similar transformation as Cu with Warp Spasm while Raiden has his muscle control ability

R6 and R13: Nostra is the traitor not Rasputin (your goat is safe Rasputin fans)

- Buddha and Nostradamus (controlled by a divine being similar how Hajun controlled Zero) - both having future sight abilities and multiuse weapons

- Hajun and Rasputin - both gaining power from misery/pain

R7 and R14;

- Odin and Qin - both feeling the pain of their opp and using 5 weapon forms, Qin feeling all the pain inflicted on other and having 5 forms of Chiyou while Odin, since he is connected with Siegfried, can feel the pain inflicted on him and has 5 weapons Gungnir + 4 treasures of Yggdrasil

- Hades and Siegfried - both using their blood to boost their weapons, Hades using his blood to boost Desmos while Sieg, since his blood is compatible with all Yggdrasil maybe it's also compatible with all the gods in general which means his blood could have a boost/healing affect on Valkyrie weapon

That’s also another pretty interesting fact that Sasaki is probably the only character that had a legit lasting power up after his match with the evolution of his scanning ability, I don’t think any other characters performed or had this sort of treatment. It doesn’t go unnoticed given how we literally scale him with pre and post R3 when it comes to powerscaling but it’s something I like to mention

While Okita is a totally different case where he did get his fair share of power ups which he ultimately will not get to use again given how those were the reason he now isn’t able to fight any longer. Just as a joke I would like to propose to scale post R10 Okita who is likely now bottom of the verse (take it seriously and you’re stupid)

So in the end the two winning swordsmen had completely different fates at the end of their own fights: one got stronger while the other got weaker

Seriously they are so similar it's not even funny

-Both were born cursed and nobody wanted to associate with them because of it, save for 2 guys (Lu Shang, Lucifer, and the other 2 bozos from Beelzebub backstory but let's be honest Lucifer is the one that matters)

-Those that did associate with them, ended up dying (in the same pose and place mind you) due to the already mentioned curse, which led both Lu Bu and Beelzebub to the path of their lives (Finding a friend and revenge against Satan)

-In the middle of their lonely quest, they find an ally (Dung Zhou and Lilith) and while they are both reluctant at first to associate with them they both agree to after they offer help in their quests and, with time, they form a bond which ends their lonely lives

-...or at least it should have, because at that moment both finally learn the painful truth (There was never a worthy opponent for Lu Bu on earth and Beelzebub is Satan) after killing their partners (in the same way, mind you)

-This leads both of them to fall into despair and search for death, which would finally fulfill their goal (Lu Bu can now find a strong opponent in heaven and Beelzebub would get "revenge" on the one that killed his friends)

And this is just their lives stories, in terms of fighting dynamic.

-Beelzebub wants to die a horrifying and brutal death and Lu Bu is the perfect opponent for that since he is the most brutal and barbaric Human while Beelzebub is certainly strong enough to be recognized by Lu Bu as his worthy opponent

-Beelzebub is said to have the strongest Spear and the strongest Shield, Sky Piercer is also said to be the strongest spear and it has the Shield Breaking ability

Honestly if it wasn't for all the lighthing moments on the Lu Bu spin off I would say Beelzebub is better than Thor for Lu Bu aswell

Not exactly, one was cursed with immense strength that everyone feared and revered at the same time creating enemies and allied all around him. That guy is looking for an equal match. The other was cursed of being host to a sinister entity that kills all who as much as stand close to him. He was finding a means to die or find ways to rid of his curse. One sees his strength as boredom and the other sees his curse as a burden. Theyre different.

Lu Bu's strength is a burden in its way, while Beelzebub can't love anyone without them dying, Lu Bu can't love anyone at all because nobody understands him "I have no interest in weak people, and everyone in this world is weak but me"

What is supposedly the link between Tesla and Beelzebub?

That they are both scientists? That is not reflected in any way during the fight.

That one is optimistic and the other is pessimistic? It's not something unique to these two.

Destruction vs creation ?

Zangetsu would get angry with anyone who despised him or Ichigo just as happened with Geirölul.

Zangetsu would call Ichigo with nicknames as a sign of affection and trust while he shows concern for him like Geirölul does with Leonidas when she calls him Leo.

Ichigo and Zangetsu would crush their enemies together with enthusiasm, just as Leonidas and Geirölul do in their fight against Apollo.
