-You, Apollo, Loki, Aphrodite, Hercules, Leonidas, and Buddha were having a rather heated discussion about VENGENCE!!

-It had started with a simple question, you asking Aphrodite, having tea together, who the most vengeful god was and the others, who were passing by, were quick to join the conversation.

-That was almost an hour ago and honestly you weren’t regretting asking, as this was hysterical! They were all fighting and bringing up the past.

-Loki smirked at Aphrodite who was red faced, embarrassed by her past, “Oh yeah~~ and what about Myrrha?” her face flushed even more before she tried to lunge at the trickster god, “Shut your mouth!!”

-Apollo chuckled, sitting beside you, “Cursing a girl like that just because her father was praising her- jealousy is unbecoming of you Aphrodite~” Buddha added more salt to the wound, “And she was the one who gave birth to that human you loved so much- what was his name?”

-He turned to you, knowing you would know the answer as you grinned, “Adonis, who then have a fling with Hercules!” Hercules wasn’t overly embarrassed, his cheeks turning a bit red as Aphrodite glared daggers at him, “To be honest, anyone would love to get with him.”

-Laughter filled the air before Apollo spoke, looking at you and Leonidas, the only humans there at the moment, “What about you humans, name one that could rival the gods in vengeance.”

-A light bulb appeared over your head as you immediately grinned, standing up and running off, leaving them staring at the floating light bulb that appeared out of nowhere and was still floating there. Loki poked it and it zapped his finger lightly before disappearing.

-You arrived back a short time later with a very beautiful woman who looked a bit confused as to why she was there before you beamed, your hands on your hips, “Meet Olga of Kyiv! She is the most vengeful human I can think of!”

-This lovely woman didn’t look like someone who could enact vengeance before she hid her mouth behind her hand, giggling slightly, “Oh so that’s what you’re talking about Y/N.”

-The name sounded familiar to a couple of them, but as far as acts of vengeance nothing was ringing a bell as Olga took a seat and you prepared a cup of tea for her.

-You then spoke, explaining, “Olga’s husband was murdered by the Drevlians, tying him between two bent trees that were tied down before cutting the ropes, splitting him in half. Following this, these bastards had the balls to come to her and propose marriage to their prince!”

-Olga sent you a stern look, much like a mother, “Language Y/N!” you were quick to apologize before continuing, “Olga agreed, and the first group who arrived were carried into the city in their boat, a plot by Olga to trick them into thinking she was agreeing, and threw the boat into a trench then buried them alive.”

-Jaws dropped, looking at Olga who looked unbothered, a small smile on her lips before you continued, “The second group that arrived were invited to have a bath after their journey. When they entered the bath house, she had all the doors sealed and burned it to the ground with all of them inside.”

-Loki and Buddha were in awe, both trying not to laugh, “When the third group came, she invited them to eat and drink to honor her husband’s death. They drank themselves drunk, and she and her people killed them all.”

-Aphrodite now had a hand over her mouth in shock, hearing this while Leonidas was joining in on the laughter while Apollo and Hercules were in shock.

-You grinned at Olga who sent you a small smile, “After several battles and demanding tribute, she then stormed their capital and demanded homing pigeons and sparrows from each house. She tied pieces of burning sulfur to each of the birds and sent them away, back home and the city was consumed. Any survivors were killed or made into slaves. All this, for her husband.”

-Olga set down her teacup, giving them a smile, “I loved him- more than I can possibly say. When he died, part of me died with him, and I knew that I wasn’t going to stand by and let him nor me be disrespected.”

-Loki was impressed, complimenting her, “You’re kind of scary, but that was awesome! I had no ideas some humans were so brutal!” she giggled softly, thanking him for the compliment.

-They were then shocked when she told them that she had been canonized as a saint after her death, making her slightly more powerful than average humans, but she was humble, as she lived quietly and peacefully in Valhalla.

Headcanons

💚 Loki is a complex god in every way. When you think you’ve learned more about him, he puts up more walls. You actually don’t know that much about him at all… he knows everything about you, but he’s almost a mystery to you.

💚 With complexity comes multiple faces. It’s not just that you see a different side of him because he loves you. Everyone sees a different mask.

💚 While he feels love for you and believes its pure, it’s fueled by obsession. He has to know where you are at all times. He needs to keep you close as much as he can.

💚 Loki is insanely intelligent. You say one little thing and he remembers it word for word.

💚 He’s extremely touchy since he’s never really had actual affection. As soon as he gets it, he clings and has trouble letting go. When he’s so charming, it can be hard to refuse.

💚 He lives for your smile and laughter. Loki is perfectly fine with being your jester, as long as it means he’s the one lighting up your face. He’ll do the dumbest shit just to see it.

💚 He gave you a pendant once, with a beautiful gem in the middle. Come to find out he enchanted it with magic and can see out of it whenever he wants. Wherever you are, he knows.

💚 His emotional maturity is terrible… if you make him mad, he’ll get petty. If you don’t accept him clinging to you, he sulks and leaves for a bit. He has no problem bringing up past insecurities of yours to bait you and keep you closer.

💚 While you know him as kind and extremely affectionate, nobody else does. He’s one of the strongest Norse for a reason, and earned his title as an assassin. If anyone hurts you in any way and he finds out, they’ll disappear in an hour. Most other gods are wise to fear him, and are weary of his lightswitch personality.

💚 He is so smooth with words, you never even notice he’s actually manipulating you. He plants tiny ideas in your head, to the point where you act on them. “Oh, my love! I had a feeling you’d wear that dress~”

💚 He will often follow you around secretly, shape shifting to hide himself in plain site. One morning you found a picture of you just walking down a path in the forest, all alone and unsuspecting. “Wait… who took that..?”

Fanfic Time

You’re a favorite of Loki’s, just an average mortal woman who never anticipated he was actually real. The god had even thought it hilarious when you asked why he didn’t look like the Marvel version.

Loki had become your protector, always ensuring you were safe. If you were down, he’d do something stupid to make you smile. For what felt like forever, you’d found someone. The only problem: he’s an immortal god.

You never expected him to tell you he loves you. He’d been hovering in front of you, legs kicking lazily behind him. His pretty lips curved, and his goat pupils slant.

“I love that look on your face. Priceless.”

His voice was teasing, and something in you snapped. Was he joking? Was all of this just a fucking joke? Your fist clenches, and you feel your ears burn.

“What the hell loki? You can’t just play with me like that!”

He seems a bit baffled, his smile dropping for just a moment as he says, “hey, calm down honey~ what’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong is you lied! You can play all your pranks but don’t ever play with my emotions!”

Your voice rises, angry and hurt. Loki floats down closer, and you feel your heart stutter. The Norse’s gaze is sharper, his amethyst eyes shining as they lock with yours. Gone is that joker smile, replaced by seriousness.

“I’m not joking. This isn’t a prank.”

Silence passes for several beats. You swear you hear your life essence racing. This wasn’t a joke? There’s no way. Loki hovers closer, your mouths dangerously close. His words ghost over your lips, slightly parted from shock.

“Darling… say something.”

You stammer for words, then finally get out, “I… I’m sorry I snapped. I-“

“Don’t apologize. Just understand I mean it.”

His tone sounds off too. Normally he’s always so teasing, smug, cunning. Now he’s stoic and suave.

Before you can reply, he closes that already small distance, kissing you. Time stops, and for a moment so does your heart.

When he pulls back, he whispers, a blush on his sharp jaw. For just minute, that mask of a clown has fallen, leaving behind a god utterly smitten.

“I love you, my precious joy.”

Loki barely appears in this volume, but what we see of him is beautiful.♡

Dating Dilemma

Thor goes to his cousin Loki to figure out the most confusing situation he just went through…If he went on a date with YD!Y/N or not
