Dear Harry,
You had me, the moment you said, âI think youâve made a mistake. I mean, I⌠canât be a⌠a wizard. I mean, Iâm⌠just⌠Harry. Just Harry.â
That moment, you proved your humbleness and simplicity. Dear Potter, you arenât just Harry. You are everything Harry.
On your first journey to Hogwarts, by swapping the sandwiches for all the tempting chocolates with Ron, you unknowingly swapped the love of a family for a lifetime.
When you chose the âright sort for yourselfâ, you unknowingly
got your best Mate for life. Your âbrother from a different mother.â
The night you dragged Ron to warn Hermione about the troll in the dungeon, and saved her, you surely got yourself another shining armor of a lifetime. Someone who will help you in all your ups and downs.
When you went to face Professor Quirrell alone, suspecting Severus Snape all the time, you didnât think of the danger on your life.
The day you left Hogwarts for the first time, and you said âIâm not going home, not reallyâ,
our hearts sighed with you.
Remember when you entered the Burrow and told Ron,â âI think itâs great!â Your yearing for a normal Happy âhomeâ was evident in those words.
Remember how you used Parseltongue and had no idea about it? Remember how you were scared youâre like Lord Voldemort? You arenât like him harry
I canât forget the infuriating rage inside you when you overheard that Sirius betrayed your parents in spite of being their best friend. But I canât also forget how happy you were to think of a life with Sirius, after you uncovered the truth. Iâm sorry it didnât work out that way.
Do you remember the bravery you showed at the second task at the Triwizard Championship? In this selfish world, who thinks that way Potter?
You were a true friend, Harry. Truly. Itâs amazing you never let Neville feel you knew his darkest secret, the one he was too scared to share with anyone.
Remember how you just flied off to the Ministry of Magic, just to save Sirius, without pondering over the danger that may be lurking there?
Hermione was right, wasnât she, when she said, âBooks! And cleverness! There are more important things â friendship and bravery!â You are brimming with both, arenât you?
Remember how you chose to walk away from the Burrow, taking the blame for Moodyâs demise and trying to avoid the deaths that may occur in the future? You showed how much you cared for people. You really did.
Where did you acquire this forgiving heart from? Ron walked away angrily from you, blaming you and throwing accusations at you. Even then, you accepted him without any apology with open arms.
When Dobby died in your arms, my heart cried with you. When you decided to bury him âwithout magicâ, my heart cried more. You indeed are an unusual wizard Harry.
Iâm sorry for your loss Harry. From your parents to Hedwig, Sirius, Mad Eye, Lupin, and everyone else, I know you miss them. I miss them too.
In spite of the enmity with Draco, you saved his life from the Fiend Fire. Do you know, you unofficially broke the enmity thread that connected you and Malfoy in that moment?
Tell me, How did you gather the courage to embrace death? Was it just love for everyone who would be punished by Voldemort lest you didnât surrender yourself to him, or was it for the greater good? You walked towards your death with with bravery. You were a true Gryffindor Potter!
By the way, howâs life treating you Harry?
You indeed got a ânormal weddingâ for yourself, didnât you. Something which you hadnât even imagined.
How many times were you hexed with Bat Bogey hex for some wrong doing at home?
For spoiling your kids, or for being lazy? Or for not heeding to her commands?
I hope youâre enjoying the phase.
We love you.
We always will.
And yes a very happy birthdayâ¤

A history of magic - part 1
A Harry Potter fanfiction written about Violet Bell, the new history of magic teacher on Hogwarts during the golden trio era. When Violet Bell arrives at Hogwarts, history of magic seems to be disliked a lot and Violet has agreed to take on the challenge to make it fun and interesting again. Follow her road as she teaches Harry, Hermione and Ron + many more students about the history of magic.
_____________________________________________________________ 'Alright! Hello class! Welcome to your history of magic lessons!' Violet said as she entered the dimly lit classroom. She would have to do something about that later today. The history of magic lessons were normally taught in classroom 4F on the first floor of the castle, but since professor Binns was still somewhere there, Dumbledore gave her a new classroom for the time being. A new classroom with a new teacher. A fresh start? Excellent.
She looked around in the classroom and saw a class that consisted of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor students. Third years. The majority was sitting on tables with their backs turned towards her, which didn't promise much. 'Please all be silent and turn around'. The class seated themselves behind their desks and looked curiously at Violet as they saw that professor Binns didn't float into the room.
'You may be thinking, who is this new person in class?' Violet mused, as she walked over to her desk and stationed her Muggle backpack on top of it, 'Professor Binns has been ill the past several days and your headmaster has appointed me to fill the gaps between his sickness and return to school.' 'My name is Violet Bell, and I will be your history of magic teacher for the following weeks'.
'Nice to meet you, miss!' A girl with an ebony coloured skin and cornrow braided black hair answered while smiling from ear to ear. A stack of books was already placed on her table and parchment paper lay ready to write notes on. Violet was glad that at least someone would be interested in her lessons. She was not sure if the rest of the class was also that excited. In fact, some students had already grabbed their bag in order to use it as a cushion and were half asleep. She looked around the class to take in some other students and her eyes nearly immediately fell on a boy with brown skin and jet black bushy hair. Harry Potter. The one and only. She smiled as she recognised both James's and Lilly's features in him. From James his Indian ancestry with his darker skin and from Lily those marvelous green eyes which really stood out. Harry looked back at her with a smile on his face. He sat next to the girl with the many books which looked at her with a steady gaze.
What would be one good way to start a history of magic lesson? Violet decided to ask her students what they could remember from previous lessons. 'You there, yes, you in the back' Violet said to one of the nearly sleeping students. 'Could you tell me your name and what you have already learned during your history of magic lessons? I am eager to know, so that I have an idea where to start <3'
'Dean Thomas, 3rd year gryffindor ma'am. I honestly couldn't tell you much about what we've learned last year.' The whole class snickered at that response. 'What?' Dean scolded as he rubbed the nape of his neck, 'I bet you lot couldn't answer this question either, except for Hermione of course. My apologies for this bad response, but I simply haven't learned much from a teacher who reads from a book in a flat drone like an old vacuum cleaner.'
Violet tilted her head back and laughed heartily. 'Yes I can imagine it. I, too, followed history of magic lessons when I attended Hogwarts. Many students were in a deep stupor occasionally coming to long enough to copy down a name or date and then fell asleep again. But don't worry, I am not planning on giving those lessons myself. I have prepared some... other things.' And she winked at the class.
'Hermione, can you tell me what you have learned so far?' The girl with the dark skin who sat next to Harry sat up straight and lifted her chin. 'Last year we discussed the medieval assembly of european wizards and the international warlock convention of 1289 and we have so far discussed the beginnings of the witch hunts.' 'Thank you very much Hermione. 10 points to Gryffindor!'
'Now a trick question.' Violet looked through the class and folded her arms over each other. 'Who can tell me on which world these lessons mainly focus?' As expected only Hermione raised her hand. 'Harry, what about you? Do you know the answer to my question?' Harry looked at her, wide eyes and seemed to think very deeply. 'Well, perhaps that these lessons are only focused on magic?' 'Exactly! Well done Harry! Ten more points to gryffindor.' 'Indeed. The lessons are only focused on magic, hence the name: history of magic. I have had quite a discussion with Dumbledore about this. The wizarding world may be a big world, but it is not the only world. Hence why I am also going to teach you some stuff about muggle history. See it as a combination. This history has had a big influence on the magic history of our world and is therefore also important to understand.'
She explained some more things about what she had planned for her lessons these next weeks and they talked a bit about the thickness of the book. After about fifteen minutes Violet decided to knit an end to this hour. 'I will end this lesson for now due to my first day. But before I leave, are there some fiery questions that you wish to be answered?â And at that, six hands raised.
'Yes, Hannah Abbot, what is your question?' 'In what house were you in when you attended Hogwarts miss?' 'Ravenclaw! I am a proud Ravenclaw. Blue and bronze are obviously the best colours' Violet winked and some students began to shout in response that red and gold were obviously better. 'Silence! Silence! Next question.' 'Do you have any pets miss?' 'A black cat. She is named Miss Mog and has only three feet and one eye. She can manage pretty well though, so you don't have to worry. I adopted her when they nearly had to put her down. Not many people wanted a handicapped black cat. Too bad, because she really is the best cat in the world.' 'Maybe you'll see her one day. Maybe not. We never know.' âAre you married miss?â At that question she hesitated for a few seconds before biting on her lower lip. âYes, I am indeed married. But sadly he is not home at the moment.â She quickly glanced at Harry, but he didnât seem to notice anything.
âWell, that was all for today. I'll give you no homework, but please think about a subject that you find really interesting in history. It may be from magical history, but also from muggle history. I'll see you next wednesday morning in the same classroom. Good luck with your further lessons!' The students slowly left the classroom and she heard one of them say that the history of magic might not be as bad as they thought it would be. Exactly what she hoped for. She walked over to the small antechamber where she had hung her coat and grabbed it. When she walked back in the classroom in order to pick up her backpack from the teacherâs desk, she saw that Harry was still sitting there to her surprise.
'Harry, can I help you with anything?' She enquired as she sat down on the corner of the large wooden desk. 'Yes' Harry looked down to the ground as he shoved his hand in the coat of his cloak in order to grab something. 'It may be a very rude question, but is that you in this picture?' He showed her an old moving photograph from supposedly the seventies. A picture of her, Lily and Marlene sitting before the castle. 'Yes, that's me, how did you find that?' She raised her brow as she looked at Harry again. 'Hagrid gave it to me when I asked if he had any more information about my parents. I have heard some things, but nothing personal. And I didnât have any photographs. Did you know them?' 'Oh yes, Lily, Marlene, the girl on the right of your mother and I were very good friends.' She saw that Harry looked eagerly at her, wishing for more information. 'What about you come to my room around three o'clock? Then we can talk in peace and Iâll tell you some stories about how I met your parents.' Harry grinned and they high-fived. 'I would love that. See you then miss!' And he ran away towards his two friends who had waited for him near the door.

Hateful Love - Chapter 1Â (Draco Malfoy)
Draco had his chin in the palm of his hand as he was staring at the empty spot opposite him at the Slytherin table. That spot would normally be filled with a girl.
