This weekend I begin what will become my 6 states in 7 weeks journey. I'll be home for a day or three, in between our runs. Along the way I'll get to stay with, and see, some of the many awesome friends I've met through the years, and I'll hopefully get to visit my family along the trail too! I'll have places for my ponies to stretch their legs and enjoy sunshine on their backs. I'm so blessed to live this life, surrounded by good people, great horses and the strangers who're cheering me on as I chase down my dreams while I've got the horse that can take me where I want to go -- though I'm not entirely sure where that is yet. The journey is the dream. We had a great time and it was the best way to wrap up a fantastic rodeo season! Lee was named Cowboy of the Year and to sum up his acceptance speech.
