No one's talking about it yet on tumblr but as someone who had a robinquill as a long stay of my team I immediately noticed that a lot of the most egregious models have changed! Thank you reddit for letting me quickly get some examples of the changes!

With my boi being one of the pals who were updated and moved, and some time to actually draw returning, I finally sat down to draw my early access and full release robinquills together!
(If you're curious about the red eyes on EA!Robinquill, I've some headcanons about the Pal Condenser, the Predator Pals, and the Pal Genetic Research Unit that are in play here :] That have definitely been added to with Robinquill's update and relocation. Those headcanons absolutely come out in my palworld stories on AO3, so if you're a fanfiction enjoyer, feel free to pop on over and give them a peek! Working on a new one-shot that's follows a 3rd person POV of my Nox, Azura, that may or may not be almost 5,000 words long already ^^; whoops-! LOL)
My thoughts on the new model under the cut!
Things I like:
The color scheme. I do like and appreciate how robinquill isn't so eye-burn anymore. His colors blend nicely together, while still giving him a pretty dang cool appearance!
The "boots". Oml, they're adorable. I like the little wings off the sides that point up like a spikey plant. It's nice that the "cuffs" of his "pants" no longer mirror the "hem". Plus, the little bit of orange on the toes are a nice touch!
The neck fluff. Personally, I always sort of headcanoned that the cape wouldn't actually be removable anyways, and sketches in my notebook actually had the collar of the cape becoming fluffier and resembling a moth's fluff anyways lol. So I personally find it a nice touch executed in game now!
Things I don't like:
That damned shawl. Oh. My. God. It does NOT translate well into 2d!! Does it look cool in game? Sure! But trying to draw it was a NIGHTMARE! I'm pretty sure I spent MOST of my time on this piece trying to get those damned brow/ear quills to make SOME sort of sense! Plus, I loved his silly aaa mohawk. I am absolutely gonna miss seeing those feather-like quills swaying as he runs with me.
The cape. Personally, I find it lacks the same character as the old one. It matching the color scheme of the base really doesn't do it any favors. Plus, they just feel... small. Especially compared to the old cape.
So uh... yeah! Those are my personal thoughts! I'm definitely curious to hear what y'all think of his new design!
(...y'know, outside the whole "oh he no longer looks like this one owl pokèmon also based on Robin Hood (whose name I uh... don't actually remember off hand... and I'm too lazy to look up LOL). That's a pretty vocal thought in others comment feeds I don't really think needs to be repeated lmao 😂)

I know the Palworld tag has a lot of fan favorites in it, but not a lot of Robinquill, so I took some screenshots of my favorite pal. I spent way too long making the perfect alpha; He's fully condensed and soul enhanced, and I cranked up the hidden potential stats to 100's across the board.
Passives: Legend, Demon God, Musclehead, Serenity
I named him Robinkill. Because he hits like a truck.
... Of course I took Robinkill to Feybreak for a few screenshots, it's not like we didn't fight Paladius and Necromus together. It's for enrichment purposes. He loves kicking ass.
