I keep scrolling past adorable posts from pokemon fans that are like "look at my cute little guy/girl/creature in ZA" and I think pokemon should be taking notes.

Objectively speaking, pals are a gazillion times more photogenic and lively animation wise. Things like that are why the game sticks, even if its popularity is largely derived from the meme of "HAHA POKEMON WITH GUNS". You come for the monkey holding an assault rifle and you stay because the butterfly looks so lifelike as it does its silly dance.

But also look at this cutie!!! She wants to help me build a giant primarina pixel art but the pixel art requires 0 butterflies so she just floats there with this joyous expression

So in the Pokémon DND- Someone made a very fun shit-post quest involving Palworld. I... did not expect that Leo my character would vibe super hard with these guys but- between becoming a cat-person, drugs, catching a specific Pokémon for a bounty and realizing the actions taken to do so must never be spoken of, and bazookas... that was something. Some of these have a story to them... And special abilities unique to them. I should probably keep this out of the Pokémon tag huh?
