I still think it would be wonderful to have a man love you so much he'd kill for you.

Max stuck it P7 between Lando and Oscar because he too can’t tell what team it is without the orange… he thought he was splitting the Mercedes…
One thing guaranteed to make me feel stupid is cat-sitting for my friend, because calculating 30-35g of food per cat, with four cats, out of a 156g tin, when always starting with a tin slightly less than half full, is simply beyond me on a sticky Saturday afternoon.
I cannot recognise the McLarens at all. Although I think their livery looks nice on paper.

I realise different tracks affects the (ugh) battery differently but that sprint was a bit hard to watch tbh. Motorway passing.
F1 presenters trying to figure out how many British drivers there are when the factor in Alex Albon
Mark Webber in the channel four coverage: "And here's young Oscar..."
Sitting on the fence as usual but I think it's totally okay that F1 drivers complain about silly media games but also totally okay that they have to paste on a smile and do it anyway. They're paid extremely well to do a job they love and there are some parts of it they dislike. Fine. I dislike answering emails.
I completely understand focusing on British drivers at the British Grand Prix - you can call British bias elsewhere, but you know what? I'm fine with it at Silverstone.
I don't know if it's because he's my least fave Brit, but it still seems way more focus on Lando than is warranted? The McLaren - so far - is in the 5th - 8th place bracket, which is roughly where it's been all season with a couple of exceptions. It's not a championship winning car. He had some minor mistakes in FP1 and a minor car issue in sprint quali that was fixed for the key lap.
I just feel like Ollie, languishing in a failing Haas and watching his Ferrari seat disappear into the far future, is a better story. Arvid, at his first ever home race, is a better story. George, trying and floundering in a championship car, is a better story. Even Alex - who I guess they don't count, driving under the Thai flag, but is surely considering Silverstone his home race as well - is a better story with the terrible Williams.
And yeah, they've mentioned them - apart from Alex. But the balance just seems off to me. Focus on the Brits, sure, but either make it equal or else focus on the more interesting stories.
(Lewis escapes by grabbing sprint pole and by being Lewis Hamilton, so he's got an understandable amount of attention.)

Pride and Prejudice (1995)
Pride and Prejudice (2005)
Look I don't think Supergirl (2026) is secretly a perfect masterpiece or anything (I personally thought it was like. a 6/10 fun time) but I do think it's wild that Tumblr isn't going crazy for it because this Kara is one coattailed suit away from being a Tumblr sexyman. she is the flawed messy female character people have supposedly been clamouring for. she's the popular archetype of a gruff self-destructive alcoholic middle-aged man begrudgingly having to look after a kid and growing fond of them but genderswapped and also 23. she's allowed to be visibly messy and kind of gross and her hair is constantly all over the place and she literally cries, screams, throws up, and pisses onscreen. she's caustic and mean and puts up an act of carelessness but has a heart of gold. she's heavily traumatised and coping with it terribly. if anything happens to her dog she will kill everyone in this room and then herself. she spends most of the movie in a trench coat and baggy band T-shirt. she gets into bar brawls and breaks a guy's hand. she is Going Through It 24/7 and looks the part. she stabs a guy in the throat. how is everyone else not obsessed with her.
People are like “it’s so beautiful no clouds at all” it could use a little clouds if I had to be honest.

Bittern at the grocery store
A very elegant crime.
(edit: my partner just pointed out that maybe the bittern is going to pay, and that's a good point)
Don't worry, his disguise was flawless and he got away with his snack :)
