ever sit and watch a river run?

This photo looks down the river gorge from the top of Lower Yellowstone Falls in Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is home to the largest number of mammal species (an estimated 67 species) in the contiguous US. It also hosts an estimated 300 bird species and 16 different species of fish (@usinterior). National parks are a refuge for wildlife from human encroachment on their habitat. This is just one reason that protecting the National Parks is so incredibly important.
