He was a field cricket i found in my house and kept for his natural life. He was annoying, but it was winter, and i didn't want to just put him outside to freeze.
Field crickets are a smooth, shiny black, but in natural light, they have a gold shimmer. I found that fascinating.
So, considering the main avatar I used for Sonic Forces was a character absolutely not designed to be a speed type, all I can ever imagine when you have to use the double boost is Sonic running at top speed while dragging a screaming seagull after him.
