I held a dog day cicada today and me and my dad stood there and just admired it for a while before it flew out of my hand. It made me realize that no matter how much I love cicadas and admire them from both close up and a far, draw them, wear jewelry inspired by them, they themselves don't know nor comprehend how loved they are by me and probably many other people throughout the world.
Kinda makes me think about how much other people love me without me realizing or comprehending that amount of love.
I personally like to think that I am or will be loved as much as I love cicadas and other insects :)
