i’ll say it yet again: the forces soundtrack is way underrated
maybe its just cause it is the embodiment of 2010s vibes and thats why i like it, but it easily is one of my favourite sonic game soundtracks.

Apparently nothing much, other than background cameos in the IDW comics and showing up as skins in other games.
Works for me, at least they’re technically remembered via mentions in the comic.
Oh if you are an Inuyasha fan, I think Naraku is a good comparison to infinite, Naraku has the power to love and create bonds given his human origin, but instead used his human heart to destroy other people’s bonds and squandered the opportunity to create bonds, the heroes even expressing some pity for his misspent life of isolation he brought on himself.
I feel that was the story intended with Infinite, he could’ve built bonds with others like the jackal squad or even Orbot, Cubot and Eggman but he didn’t. It is like how Naraku wouldn’t work if his backstory was he had a loving relationship with an adoring girlfriend in a wonderful romance, but Sesshomaru killed her, making him hate all love and romance. Like it’s not a foil to Inuyasha and doesn’t fit with his story.
