A slow sigh escaped through Akira's nose, lips pressed together to keep the air from escaping that way.

Even though it had all happened in the cognitive world, it was hard not to take being shot in the head personally, and that was before meeting the teen detective again in Shido's palace. Despite all of that, he didn't hate Akechi. The teen detective didn't nearly fall under the same umbrella as the adults they'd brought down--Kamoshida, Madarame, Kaneshiro, even Shido-- so he didn't hold that level of animosity or anger fueled drive for justice. Akechi was much more complex, several emotions piled on top of each other that he didn't know how nor had the energy to parse through.
