Welcome, welcome, one and all! Come take your seats, both great and small. The tent is tall, the lights are bright, and every star has dressed tonight.
Now tell me, friends, what shall we see?
A magician who pulls moons from his sleeve? A lion who politely refuses to leave? A juggler who keeps time instead of balls? An acrobat who never quite falls?
Or perhaps a performer with nerves of steel, who smiles so wide you forget what's real.
Now, now, no peeking behind the curtain! Half the fun is not being certain. Is the trick a trick? Is the lie a lie? Must every answer satisfy?
For every cheer deserves a show, and every show deserves a cheer. The louder you laugh, the longer we stay; the brighter you smile, the darker the day. Such is the bargain, fair and true this stage belongs as much to me as it does to you.
Hold your breath with wonderful ease.
For the night is young, the stage is set, and I haven't shown my favorite act...
