Right so to recap:
Jensen and Danneelâs production company--on the same day as an article about the close involvement of an LGBT+ leader from the WB--announces an SPN prequel âaboutâ John and Mary.
Robbie Thompson--no fan of John Winchester, huge Destiel supporter, number one Misha fanboy--is confirmed as being on the project.
Misha tweets to Casbait us about it (although maybe he gets a pass b/c heâs Cas) and heâs obviously known for a while.
Jarpad tweets snarkily about how he had no involvement and only found out from Jensenâs Twitter.

I'd feel a lot better about AMC's Preacher if they'd show the Saint of Killers already
Trying to get to that point where when I see something for the first time my mind stays blank. Because I see it for what it is and not what I think it should be.

I'm way more excited because Peyton Reed is the director. They guy who did Bring it On. He guy who did Down With Love. The guy who almost did a 60's FF movie. More excited about Ant Man than Avengers 2.
I, uhmmm, haven't seen either of those movies. Bring it On is like You Got Served which is like Step It Up, right? Someone starts dancing, the only proper response is to dance back, someone falls in love with someone from a rival dance crew, drama happens, dancing happens...?Â
I kind of hope that occurs in Ant-Man now that I think about it. DANCE BATTLES. I'm in. Sign me up.
I have never heard of Down With Love. Please don't hate me.

I don't really care for Hank Pym but once I found out this movie won't center on him, I'm now interested
That was the only thing that gave me hope and changed me from "hell no" to "eh, we'll see"Â
and like I said, I like Paul Rudd well enough, though I always think of him as Paris from Romeo + Juliet, because 1) I am an Old Person and 2) Shakespeare, I guess
huh
I have found the one person in the entire universe who apparently cares deeply about the Ant-Man movie
I mean like, please believe, I'm willing to give it a chance - I was skeptical of every movie since the first Iron Man tbh because I kept waiting for them to fuck up real bad -Â and Paul Rudd's ok, but I am in no way stoked about this film (especially since Edgar Wright walked as director)
I'll end up seeing it, no doubt
but you also probably won't see me championing it until I've seen it and found it to be worthwhile
I'm not sure if that sounds entirely delish (in a weird sort of way), or like it belongs on NSWPE.
