I can finally post this ^^ this was a birthday present so I had to wait a bit ^^ I'm so glad my customer gave me a free hand with this project. There was a favorite animal, a birthday, a budget. I made a full illustration, a fox figurine and I added the cute fox earrings on top of that because : happy birthday ! So I think that Isaac's actions and his potential future rule is going to lead to the rise of the Renard family.
So as far as I can remember we don't know what happens to Night Creatures after their master dies so I think that they just hang around after their master passes away.
So Isaac dies one day, years after he first took power and started teaching humans how to be better, leaving his Night Creature army masterless and therefore free to roam through Europe as they please.
People everywhere try to fight them but they're struggling and the Belmont's can't be everywhere at once so everyone is trying to find a solution to this Night Creature problem.
Enter the Renards, a family of beast magicians who, due to their magical prowess and talents discover that they are particularly adept when it comes to subduing and killing this army from Hell. They soon begin to make a name for themselves and within a few decades or generations they are as famous as the Belmonts, even teaming up with them from time to time.
Within the first few generations of the Renard's rise to power one of their heirs marries a Belmont woman, uniting their houses and linking them forevermore.
These two families then divide Europe, with the Belmonts dealing with all the creatures and monsters in the East and the Renards dealing with every creature and monster in the West.
